The Third Annual HarvestFest in historic Downtown Tipp City will be Saturday, October 31 (the Day itself!) from 7-11 PM, rain or shine. Beer and soft drinks will be served. You must be 21 WITH PROPER ID to pick your poison. Beer, and soft drinks will be available, as will commemorative posters and other items. Come in costume and compete in our costume contests! The Tippecanoe HarvestFest is presented by the Downtown Tipp City Partnership.

We are proud to announce that Dirtybone, a fine local band with the perfect Halloween vibe, will be entertaining us with great rock covers in a party atmosphere. Dirtybone draws a great, festive crowd and will be a very welcome addition to what is becoming a Tipp City Tradition.

The Tippecanoe HarvestFest is a city-wide celebration, with a month of exciting activities, parties and contests culminating in an outdoor Halloween Party, featuring food and drink, decorations, costume contests and local band favorite Dirtybone headlining the event. Don’t be scared - come out and join the fun!

The History

Last Summer a group of citizens approached the Downtown Partnership to discuss having a Halloween-themed fall party in downtown Tipp City. The idea was to draw people to our historic downtown and to compliment our wonderful Community Nights with an event that would appeal to the young adult crowd, with a rock band and festive beverages, and Tippecanoe HarvestFest 2007 was born.

The reaction we received from the community was very positive, and the party went forward and proved to be a great success. Spungeworthy, a very cool local band, accompanied a terrific evening of costumed fun and socializing. Attendance was great, the weather cooperated, and the atmosphere was ghoulishly exciting! Everyone from the band to the Tipp City Police detail reported having a wonderful time and looking forward to next year’s party. This year, we’re looking forward to another great HarvestFest, made even better by the presence of everyone who heard about it last year and don’t want to miss out this year!
